ABOUT JUNIOR IDOL
Undergoing its 7th annual production, Calgary's Junior idol is a highly anticipated event and singing competition that provides the opportunity for kids under the age of 17 to showcase their singing talent in a professional and supportive environment.
This year we plan to make the Calgary Junior Idol Event the best one ever. The event process has already begun with talented young singers submitting their registration form, and our staff are working hard to line up quality media personnel who are keen on promoting and covering the competition.
Also this year, in conjunction with the competition, Hats Off Management will be hosting a weekend workshop in which students can learn about stage presentation, performance techniques, connecting with the audience, and of course voice lessons.
Auditions for Calgary's Junior Idol will begin September 26th at Eau Claire Market in the community room. Hats Off has always strived to make the audition process run as smooth as possible. For this reason, we cap the number of contestants at 200 - so hurry and get those registration forms in.
ABOUT HATS OFF MANAGEMENT GROUP
Since 1990, Hats Off Management Group has gained a solid reputation for fostering and cultivating Calgary's talented youth. Acting as production writer, director, event planner, agent, teacher and scout, Hats Off has created and developed a number of platforms for kids to enhance and feature their talents in the performing arts.
Responsible for producing Calgary's Junior Idol for seven years running, Hats Off Management has also hosted Calgary's Got Talent, choreographed the World Police and Fire Games, and directed a number of performing arts workshops in which worldly acclaimed actors, dancers, and singers have taught local teens the ins and outs of the theatre/movie industry.
